What is reverse osmosis?

Reverse osmosis is one of the most thorough ways to filter drinking water. It pushes water through an extremely fine membrane designed to remove contaminants that typical filters can leave behind, including lead, PFAS, chlorine, nitrate, fluoride, bacteria and microplastics.
